Alpine Arena run organised walking and via ferrata holidays from the beauitiful and traditional Austrian village of Ehrwald in the Zugspitze arena, nestling between the towering mountains of the Wetterstein, Mieminger and Lecthaler alps. We also offer Valle di Ledro in a tranquil part of Lake Garda, Italy. We combine perfectly situated accommodation with organised walks in some of the most inspiring terrain in Austria and Italy. We have over 20 years experience of Via ferrata.
We organise and run mountain walking and mountain tours, via ferrata, lakeland walks, and alpine flower walks. All of these walks are included in the cost of accommodation. Every aspect of your holiday can be supervised personally by experienced walk and via ferrata leaders, or we can make more flexible arrangements for more experienced and independent walkers or those who simply want to relax and explore the area.
All our walks are graded - Blue, Red and Black to cater for all abilities. Our Blue-graded walks, for example, are suitable for families with children. They are level or involve gradual gradients and always have an easy route back home. The Black-graded walks are for those seeking exhilarating trails often with exposed summits and ridges.
