Via ferrata and Klettersteig Austria and Italy

The Austrian alps and the Italian Dolomites are an ideal location for Via Ferrata (or Klettersteig in Austrian), and Alpine Arena's via ferrata climbing holidays explore some of the best little-known via ferrata routes in Austria and Italy.

Via ferrata is a type of mountain climbing that follows designated paths laid out with metal ladders, rungs and wire ropes. the dolomite rock of the limestone alps is well-suited to via ferrata - for beginners and those with more experience - and Alpine Arena have long-standing experience running via ferrata and climbing holidays and of the many via ferrata routes in this part of Austria and the Italian Dolomites near Lake Garda.

We are located in the Zugspitze arena of the Austrian Tirol and also Lake Garda in the Southern Dolomites. We offer climbers our via ferrata expertise and local knowledge of via ferrata as well as ideally located accommodation in Austria and accommodation in Italy.

Alpine Arena are Austria walking and climbing specialists who specialise in via ferrata, mountain walking, lakeland walking, and alpine flower walks in both the Austrian alps and Italian southern dolomites.
